Sauce pots by BODUM®
Waves and boats go good together. Waves and galley utensils -
not so much! We can remember many occasions when, at anchor, a
rougue wave has caught us off guard tipping or spilling a jar of
oil or sauce. Bodum has solved the problem with their Sauce Pot.
Weather brushing sauce on broiled halibut, glaze on fresh baked
goods or even just brushing a little oil in a pan, the Bodum
Sauce Pot is a perfect solution.
The Bodum Sauce Pot is another ingenious creation from the minds
of Bodum. The food-grade silicone brush fits snuggly inside its
glass jar, created an airtight seal. The bottle can be tipped or
the contents splashed about but nothing passes by the seal of
the brush.
The Mad Dogs have two Bodum Sauce Pots on board. One sits in the
galley cupboard containing a small amount of olive oil and is
routinely used to coat the inside of a bowl for bread dough to
rise or to brush a light layer in a pan for cooking. The other
Bodum Sauce Pot is ready to use for brushing Mad Dog Barbeque
Sauce on the salmon steaks or halibut fillets as they grill on
the barbeque.
Bodum makes the Sauce Pot available in four colors, enough to
match your likes or blend with your interior. If you have ever
tried pouring just a little oil out of an oil bottle, you know -
it doesn't work! The Bodum Sauce Pot is a quick, easy and drip
free solution.
